ACS-Hach High School Chemistry Classroom Grant (HEADS UP)
Applicants must be a high school chemistry educator teaching in a U.S. or U.S. territory school. Since 2008, over 600 high school chemistry teachers received ACS-Hach High School Chemistry Classroom Grants to support ideas that enhance classroom learning, foster student development, and reveal the wonders of chemistry. ACEI Minigrants for Special Projects
The ACEI annually awards minigrants to ACEI members to support implementation of outstanding education-related projects serving children from birth through age 13. Projects can be direct service projects or designed to improve classroom instruction or to enhance teacher education. Adobe: ConnectED software grants
As part of the White House’s ConnectEd initiative, Adobe is offering creative tools and teacher professional development to schools across the United States. Maximum award: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Presenter, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Echosign, and a range of teacher training resources. Adopt-A-Classroom Educational Grants
Teachers who register at the Adopt-a-Classroom web site can be adopted by an individual, a business, or a foundation. Once adopted, teachers will receive $500 worth of credit to purchase items that enrich the learning environment, including classroom technology. Deadline: None. Click here.

After School Digital Learning Center Program Grants

“The program strives to close the “Digital Divide” for disadvantaged children who get left behind because they do not have the means to access computers in today’s increasingly digital society. Its goal is to address the needs of underprivileged/at-risk children ages five to 18 with a meaningful, yet fun, learning experience during the critical after-school hours in a safe environment. It does this by providing qualifying non-profit community agencies and public schools with digital learning centers. Amazon Future Engineer

As an extension to the Amazon Cyber Robotics Challenge, Amazon Future Engineer is providing free access to CoderZ’s virtual robotics learning modules to 1000 Title 1 teachers (reaching over 100,000 students) this school year. After completing the introductory 3-hour challenge, teachers can move students onto one of CoderZ’s more advanced coding modules. Interested teachers (grades 4-12) can apply at AmazonFututureEngineer.com and will have access to the course of their choice for six months for up to 150 students. American Heart Challenge – Middle & High Schools

The American Heart Challenge prepares middle and high school students for success by strengthening their physical and emotional well-being and fostering their social responsibility. The American Heart Association will supply physical education instructors, coaches or teachers with step-by-step instructions to host fun activities at school with engaging educational modules that address the needs of middle and high school students. Amgen Foundation Grants

The Foundation awards grants to local, regional, and international nonprofit organizations that are replicable, scalable and designed to have a lasting and meaningful effect in our communities. The Foundation is committed to raising the value of science literacy on a national and local level. The areas given priority consideration within science education are teacher quality and professional development in math and science, and pivotal hands-on science experience. ArcGIS Online is a cloud-based GIS for using, creating, and sharing maps and apps, with secure logins for all, inside an Organization. Artificial Intelligence Chatbot Grant

The Artificial Intelligence Chatbot Grant is designed to provide awarded institutions with the requisite licenses and services to a comprehensive Artificial Intelligence Chatbot service. Following the Campus Consortium’s due diligence process, up to 10 institutions may receive up to $50,000 in software licenses, support and implementation services for a term of up to five (5) years. The Foundation awards grants to charitable, educational, and scientific organizations, which are public charities. Corporate Contributions

Barnes and Noble offers grants that support literacy, the arts, and prekindergarten through grade 12 education. Proposed projects should reach a national audience and work with Barnes and Noble on program execution. Eligible applicants are US prekindergarten through grade 12 schools and nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations located in communities where Barnes and Noble employees live and work. Sponsor-A-Hive Bee Partnerships

Bees offer a wonderful way for children and communities to learn about science, ecology, agriculture, societal structure, mutual cooperation, and even history – all by caring for and observing the activity of bees maintained on an on-site bee house. The innovative Sponsor-A-Hive program provides bees and equipment to help people safely set up, maintain, and observe such on-site bee sanctuaries at schools, community gardens, and green spaces across the United States. The Sponsor-A-Hive program provides honeybees, mason bees and/or leafcutter bees, their homes, bee keeping equipment and information on how to care for the bees. Bees are strategically placed in locations where they can bolster bee populations, advance science and environmental education and pollinate locally grown food. Also provided is our Sponsor-A-Hive Teacher’s Kit, which is full of lesson plans and worksheets to teach students more about their bee home. Believe in Reading considers projects that support its mission and philanthropic objectives and considers only projects that specifically and substantially address its funding priorities. Believe in Reading targets successful literacy programs which serve populations that show out of the ordinary needs, such as geographic areas with low reading scores and high poverty levels. BoatU.S Foundation

The goal of the BoatU.S. Foundation is to be a leader in boating safety and environmental education and outreach, with the purpose of reducing accidents and fatalities, increasing stewardship of the nation’s waterways, and keeping boating a safe, accessible, and enjoyable pastime. The Foundation’s Grassroots Grants Program supports local, regional, and national nonprofit organizations, as well as boating clubs and student groups, that develop innovative projects to promote safe and clean boating on local waterways. The Lois Lenski Covey Foundation offers grants for bookmobile programs across the nation that serve children from disadvantaged populations. Bowler’s Ed In-School Bowling Equipment Grant Program

The purpose of this award is to support the implementation of Bowler’s Ed, the In-School bowling program from the International Bowling Campus’ Youth Development. Bridge Builders Grants

The Martin Richard Foundation awards grants to support youth-led service projects with the goals of promoting inclusion, equity, and understanding in the community. Young people aged 5 to 22 in kindergarten through grade 12 schools, colleges, youth groups, and service clubs are eligible to lead projects, which must be supported by educators or youth development professionals. Projects may not be political in nature and must have at heart the values of peace, justice, and kindness. Projects may involve civic engagement or physical service in the community and may be led by individual youth, classrooms, or neighborhood groups. Priority is given to projects that are replicable. The Witter Bynner Foundation for Poetry promotes poetry in American culture and encourages grant proposals that expand awareness of the positive effects of poetry on society. The CAN’d Aid Foundation is accepting applications from communities, local organizations, and local government entities to help support recycling programs. The Captain Planet Foundation

The Captain Planet Foundation provides grants to schools for environment-based education projects. Edthena Innovation Fund

Edthena is introducing a $1.5-million Innovation Fund to support schools and districts with their teacher observation and collaboration initiatives. The Edthena video collaboration platform can help you in a variety of ways: Streamlining feedback to teachers with video observations; Creating opportunities for more teacher-teacher collaboration; Scaling best practices and “what works” examples across the district; and flexible, asynchronous learning that’s still high quality and high impact. Children’s Book Donations and Grants
First Book offers free and inexpensive children’s books and educational resources to school and programs that serve children in need, from birth to age 18. By partnering with publishers, First Book is able to provide a large array of new, age-appropriate books, including picture books, chapter books, and novels. Eligible participants include schools, early childhood programs, libraries and museums, out-of-school time programs, faith-based organizations, and more, provided at least 70 percent of the children served are from low-income families. Cigna Healthier Kids For Our Future

Cigna’s mission is to improve the health and vitality of those they serve. Cigna has two focus areas: mental health and food insecurity. Under mental health, Cigna’s goal is to supplement existing mental health programming- and help close gaps both within and outside the school environment- to address loneliness, anxiety, depression, and suicide prevention. The Computer for Learning (CFL) Program matches the computer needs of schools and educational nonprofit organizations with excess equipment in federal agencies. Eligible schools are public, private, or parochial schools serving prekindergarten through grade 12 students. The Rural Technology Fund awards Technology Education Grants

Proposed projects should be teacher and student led in public schools and libraries with a focus on technology career areas including the following: computer science, computer engineering, information technology, programming, cyber security, and robotics, among others. Safe Places to Play

Transforms abandoned courts, empty schoolyards, vacant lots and the like into state-of-the-art soccer fields for kids. The Foundation awards grants three times a year to underserved communities to help cover the costs of lighting, irrigation, construction, surfacing and enhancement. For communities where space is at a premium, Safe Places to Play developed what we call the mini-pitch.
